Help Houston

I am learning about the United States. My mom told me about the hurricane in Texas. I really want to help the people but I am too small to go down and help. So I came up with another idea. I am collecting toiletry and baby items for the people to use. Some things like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, feminine products, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers, wipes and baby shampoo. Items can be dropped off at North Bend Church of the Brethren, both sites on Sunday mornings. Any questions please call Andrew and Kerri Bailey.

Thank you for helping me with this project!

Day One at the Jump for Jesus Survival Camp

Last night was the start of Vacation Bible School. Children visited the “Jump for Jesus Survival Camp”.

In case you were wondering F.R.O.G. stands for fully rely on God. Activities followed this theme throughout the night. The kids went fishing while memorizing 1 Peter 5:7 which tells us to “cast our anxieties on Him”. They also ran an obstacle laden relay race “for the glory of God”.

Vacation Bible School continues tonight at the Danville site from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Dinner is provided. We hope that you can join us.
