Youth

Youth Group

The youth group is open to all youth in grades 6-12. They meet in Butler on the 1st and 3rd Sundays and in Danville on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 5:00 p.m. On fifth Sundays, the youth spend time with their families.

They are very active and study the Bible. Each year they take a mission trip, sometimes to a local community, sometimes to a larger city. In Butler, every third Sunday of the month, there is a youth bake sale to raise money to help defray the costs of the mission trips.

Some additional activities include helping cut wood to provide heat for those in need, working around local schools to help with beautification, helping families move, and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, etc . On occasion, they combine with other area churches to have fun and worship God together in activities such as dodge ball, volleyball, kick ball, etc.

Once a month the youth collect change for the Heifer project. See the missions page for more information on this.

Each summer, we host a vacation Bible school for youth. Many kids and adults get involved in a variety of ways. The location alternates between the Danville and Butler sites.

Our Brethren District Church Camp has many fun activities throughout the year for youth of all ages!  For more information visit www.inspirationhillscamp.org
